The reason why I want human beings to be cops. And also, the reason why I am against the coming use of robots in law enforcement is this: Humans have the ability to "think on their feet". They have the ability to make a "judgement call". The human element is an important ingredient in Law Enforcement.

I smoke weed at home. I know how that shit ****s with you when you drive. I would have busted his ass too for smoking and driving.

Last time I smoked weed, it felt like time had stopped and I was in an alternate reality. Shit may have been laced with PCP. In any event, yeah, moral of the story is, smoke weed at home every day if you want, but don't do stupid shit out in public that will attract the attention of the police. It's so simple a concept, yet so many people fail at it.
