Here in the Philippines we have the PBA Hall of fame. Only players who have a successful careers in our league are inducted in the Hall of Fame. They have a Naismith and Fiba hall of fame. The NBA might as well create their own hall of fame.. Just induct Bill Russell and Bob Cousy and some NBA Pioneers as the first Inductees.
