Was Del Harris the original Choked Rivers?

The Lakers had an all star team rosters from 1996-1999, but they always choked and underachieved in the playoffs.

To actually address the topic at hand, the Lakers did underachieve those years. Top to bottom the Lakers had a better roster than the Jazz in 97 and 98, but Del Harris got outcoached badly by Jerry Sloan and Shaq was not as good of a leader as Stockton and Malone. Kobe wasn't ready yet and Van Exel was awful in the 98 Conference finals. Seriously he was up there with Jason Kidd on the 2013 Knicks playoff run as the worst I've ever seen.
