That's insane. Denver used to have one of the highest murder clearance rates in the nation just a decade ago or so. I wonder what happened? Denver's black population is only 10% but 50-60% of murder victims in a typical year are black. 2019 was a record year. Only 48% of murder victims were black. Surprisingly the police solve even less homicides of latinos in Denver than they do blacks.
