By rule....you couldnt take away a basket for that. The Blazers were called for a technical foul. Ray Allen made the FT....but the Blazers net a point out of the deal.

They won too. Luckily not by 1 and not in a playoff game or we would never hear the end of it.

At the end of games teams should always load up 6 and give up the FT when down 1

Funny you should ask(though Pop supposedly didnt intend it).

Watch Boris Diaw inbound the ball to.....the other 5 Spurs:

Go to 2:40 to see him run in....but nobody left the floor.

Lucky for the NBA the spurs didnt hit a game winner off that since it would have eliminated the Mavs.

They kept all 6 out there too while Monta tried to call attention to it till Leonard eventually slid off quietly and they missed the game winner.

if theres anyone that would it, of course it had to be Pop, he has zero sportsmanship ethics

I'm guessing you could write a Master degree paper on 2 players with the same PER for one season and how everything pan out from there and make a niche point of view

These days they’d just review it and take away the basket
