Nope, the Clippers are stuck. And Milwaukee wouldn't want to do that trade. They aren't winning anything with Paul George. He has now failed in 3x straight seasons with another superstar.

PG has a 2yr deal. Why would Milwaukee do it? Better off giving full max to Giannis and keeping him long-term

U can’t just keep passing Paul George around like that to other teams every year, people have seen his failures now

I wonder od Leonard is questioning himself for making the Clippers trade for George. Clippers would be a lot better off with Shai G Alexander and all those pick than George.

Yeah you can... small market teams will absorb ridiculous contracts or sign subpar players for crazy amounts. That's the only way they can compete.

This needs to happen ASAP. Giannis will not be able to beat Kevin Durant and will demand a trade.

First of all, the Bucks would rather ride it out with Giannis if George was proposed to them. Second of all, George has no more guaranteed years on his contract than Giannis does, so that's another reason the Bucks will raise their middle finger.

He has to be. Not only did he bet on the wrong horse if we are talking winning chips and not RS games, given PG's playoff shriveling (he is young enough that he has time to turn it around but he is old enough that there is enough of a track record to suggest it is unlikely he ever will), they mortgaged their future to get PG. They have no draft picks to trade until 2028, presumably have no cap space given the 2 superstar's salaries, and no intriguing young assets. They are basically stuck with this core.
