Last year we saw Kyrie inexplicably miss good looks that he usually hits against the Bucks, time after time. Both players are known for good midrange and 3pt shooting, but they kept missing open shots pretty badly. Can it happen to just lose your shooting ability for short term period and what could it be that causes that, mental thing or physical or just plain luck? I don't believe in the latter.

Mental--look at PG's record in big games. Kyrie was bad in that series but we have seen him play well on the finals stage. We haven't seen anything like that from PG.

Yeah but Kawhi? He is supposedly a robot unaffected by anything. If I see PG going cold I know its mental. But Kawhi missing open midrange badly, constantly going too short or too long... it reminded me of Kyrie last playoffs.

Kawhit pulled a Kawhit. Hes always been an unreliable choker.
Funny people were thinking he was the next big thing because he won an asterisk ring on a ridiculously stacked team last year. He's a huge fraud and people who bought the hype are retards.

Combination of: Anxiety, luck, fatigue, and in Kawhi's case, complacency.

Oh, sorry read the OP too fast. Regarding Kawhi, it happens. Everyone has bad games. He just picked a bad time to have it this year and his co-star wasn't there to pick up his slack. His career long playoff resume speaks for itself of course.
