Kawhi lost with 4 other all stars. This only enhances the Celtics legacy

Makes a lot more sense with each passing year why they got taken to 7 by the Hawks & Cavs

Goes to show how dumb NBA players really are. They didn't realize that their biggest obstacles wasn't the Lakers, it was their own head coach :oldlol:

And guys like Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce worship doc rivers

as good as the difference between a healthy Perkins and an injured one

08 Celtics had the most playoff losses of any title team

When they won games it was due to their talent and KG/Thibodeaus defense and when they won they usually won BIG. Like 20-40pt wins

the games they lost it went down to the wire and Docs coaching got tested and he failed over and over

so you're saying Thibodeasu had a vibrating butt plug up Doc's ass and controlled him into calling time outs with the push of a button

That team was not only good, they are historical. The 3 superstar players have perfect chemistry, no other big three in this century complement each other's games so well. They are so thirsty and determined for the title, after so many years of not making it to the Finals. Rondo on the court is like a secondary coach, I wont be surprised if he knows even more than Doc Rivers does. Also lets not forget they had Tom Thibodeau as assistant coach, he cant coach offense but his defensive training/tactics were top class. Doc Rivers basically just had to sit there and call timeouts, thats about it.

These Clippers really had no playoff experience and were not tested and didn't have 3 point shooting nor size in the middle and Paul Gorge according to his history looking at his statistics always folded up under the pressure and expectations and Kawhi was limping back to the locker room.

Regular season games and talking trash like you have already won the championship doesn't make you instantly champions, the media fooled us and the Clippers talking trash did also and the expectations because everyone practically thought that the Clippers would play the Lakers.

Now the Lakers and their players besides James have been stepping up big time especially on defense and the three point line.

Now's the test because Denver is flying Mile High and have confidence, the Lakers might lose game one but backdoor sweep Denver just like they did to Rockets.

The NBA Finals then should be a cake walk for the Lakers.

true good catch, 10 losses in a chip run which usually gathers 16 wins (unless inferior 90s days or before)

so that means

2018 celtics 16 and 10, that is good for 61.5% win rates
2009 lakers 16 and 7
2010 lakers 16 and 7 again
2011 mavs 16 and 5 powerhouse
2012 heats 16 and 7
2013 heat 16 and 7
2014 spurs 16 and 7
2015 warriors 16 and 5
2016 cavs 16 and 5
2017 warriors 16 and 1
2018 warriors 16 and 5
2019 raptors 16 and 8
2020 lakers 16 and 6 (2 or 3 to Denver, 1 or 2 to Eastern Finals team)

still doesn't explain why the 1 time MVP and DPOY couldn't win the FMVP

literally makes the statement Wade is Jordan and Lebron is his Pippen illogical
