hats off to the browns for being the only team in the NFL that is allowing full attendance in their stadium

The Browns are going to the playoffs if they follow last night's blueprint. Stop forcing Baker as the face of the franchise. You have two dudes who are a threat for a big play every time they touch the ball with Hunt and Chubb.

Sorry to be a debbie downer, but the Browns dont get to play the Bengals at home on thursday night every single week, and I would bet the farm that they miss the playoffs

I appreciate the fact that its painful for a browns fan to have a long memory... but you do remember what happened last week, right? In case you forgot, last week the Browns played against a real playoff team and got ****ing butt slammed.

I'm not a browns fan though. Last week Baker chucked it 40 times. That's the point. Even if you're losing it's better to hand it off to Chubb or Hunt for a big play instead of heaving it to OBJ.

When you're losing by more than one score, repeatedly handing it off to the RB is not really an option

Browns could run the ball well against the Boys in week 4, looks like we could be taking an L that week.

The Cowboys could be in for a very long year which is fine for me because I am not about overpaying for Dak.

Dalton wouldn't have had a problem putting up 17 points on the Rams last week

~primetime~

Dak is WAAAAAAAY better than Dalton.

Come on man.

You must of forgotten the years between Aikman and Romo... those years make the Garrett years look amazing

Dak is WAAAAAAAY better than Dalton.

Come on man.

I'm not saying Dak isn't way better... I'm just saying this offense is currently built in such a way that we don't need $40 million spent at the QB spot.

if you have Zeke, Cooper, and Lamb locked up the next 5 years... you shouldn't have to spend that kind of money at QB.

We need an elite defense... that's what we need.

The sad thing is about the hiring of Patricia is how bad he was as an assistant with the #Patriots despite getting aid by Belichick. Look at the #Eagles Super Bowl as an example, the final game he coached there

Pats defense improved significantly the past two years with him gone

The extent to which a coach can shape a franchise in the NFL is remarkable.
The Cardinals were horrible and then Kliff Kingsbury came along and now they're good and so fun to watch.
The Lions were decent and then Matt Patricia came along and now they're bad and painful to watch.

people fell for the "number 1 scoring defense!" okie doke. Anybody that watched the game could see that our offense basically carried our defense by not punting, holding onto the ball for long drives and having minimal turnovers. Teams used to slice and dice our defense.

Patricia's philosophy was helped by our top 3 offense, take the offense away(detroit) and you have a terrible defense.

I mean look at the 2014 team, our talent alone should've had us as the best defensive team in the league, we were like 9th

if you had taken "the over" (46.5).... you would have lost, because the final score was 30-15, a total of 45 which is "under"

but I think you meant to say Arizona beating Washington by more than 6.5 points was easy money.

I’m pretty sure they’re using stadiums for the fake crowd noise. It’s not plugged in by the broadcast

As a Pats fan, do you think they evolve the offense and shift to Cam being more of a pocket passer over the course of the season? I feel like if Cam incorporates that into his game at a high level and he becomes a huge problem for the rest of the league.

Bill has always been enamored by Cam’s running game. You can find interviews and post conferences of him praising Cam for it. I don’t think Bill will even try to handicap Cam, I can see him sprinkling option plays to give Cam the freedom to run

I'm not thinking of it as hampering him, I'm just hoping for a way that Cam can find a way to extend his career and pick his spots more. His size and athleticism will always be a huge asset obviously.

And wow, that's a huge stop by Seattle. Great push at the line to seal the win.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in Carolina he was basically forced to run because he was the offense. In NE we will be running plays for him to run but we'll primarily focus on the passing game.

No, I think that's a fair take. It just seemed like they were a little more run heavy with Cam in week 1 and shifted to a stronger passing focus this week. I think part of that is game flow but I'm hoping that Cam's rushing ability is used more judiciously in NE than in Carolina.
