Lets say Lebron & Kawhi are not.

Just as much as anyone not named LeBron James did from 2011-2018.

Or just as much as anyone named Giannis, Embiid, Carmello, Paul George, Derrick Rose, Vince Carter, Jimmy Butler, did.

It's James Harden, so probably none.

Harden has proven to every basketball folks he is a failure as the Top Dog on a team. But Harden in the East as a sidekick to the Greek Freak or Embid will make at least 2 finals appearance.

If the Houston Rockets were the Baltimore or Pittsburgh Rockets? 15', 18', and 19'.

I don't see them winning in 2015 or 2019. Last year's Rockets don't get by the Raptors or Bucks.

I can see the Raptors beating them in 19'. 15' is harder IMO since Love missed the entire ECF and Irving played only 2 games in the ECF.

15 is harder to know for sure, but the Cavs were playing great ball. They beat a Rose/Butler Bulls team even with Love out and Kyrie getting injured during the series and swept the 60 win Hawks with even with Kyrie missing games during the series. Houston had some good players beyond the beard, but only beat the Clippers because Josh Smith of all people went off and then were dispatched easily by the Warriors.

It probably would have been a good series. 2018 is the only year I think we can say with confidence Houston would have won the east.

True, the Bulls had P. Gasol too, who had a big year in 15'.

That Houston team was different than the later team. The 15' team was coached by McHale and Howard was their second best player.

Agree on 18'. Houston clearly was the second best team in the NBA in 18'. The best team just happened to be in the same conference.

Giannis can't even make the Finals in the east. Why would Harden?
