He had like 37 points in game 5 potential closeout but his teammates were pieces of shits. I would of done the same thing as Kawhi. Your buddy LeBron will never beat prime Kawhi, at least Jokic can say he did.

Luka got that 1st tean, so that adds to the list of all nba 1st team stars in primes that Kawhi eliminated:

Yeah after he had a 14 BPM for game 5 and 36 points on 67% TS, that should of been series over. Unfortunately kawhi's bench is just awful and his 2nd option is up and down.

Guys like 2005 Manu and 2020 LeBron have that luxury of not scoring and just being a playmaker for certain games. LeBron Ginobli and Anthony Duncan are a great duo. Clippers will retweak this offseason and kawhi will get his 3rd finals mvp next season.

Thing is with Kawhi, he was starting to look run down again at the end of the series. Maybe it was the steady every other day games that wore him out, but just remember how he looked at the end of the Finals last year. As he continues to age, I'm not so sure he won't keep load managing into the playoffs at some point. 4 rounds is a lot of intense basketball on that quad. Lucky for him, the usual schedule has plenty of 2 and 3 day breaks between games, so maybe he'll be ok. Still worrisome though.
