I've never tried either one, so I'm wondering what the allure here is?? The point of coffee to me is to get the caffeine boost, otherwise, coffee has a bitter taste to it.

And non-alcoholic beer? Are you serious?

i;ve tried that heineken zero. tasted like garbage.

on that note, i actually thought it was a decent replacement to beer considering i wasn't trying to drink alcohol that evening. i think that's the point. kind of like diet soda, tastes awful, but it might do the trick.

Heineken is the main sponsor of the Champions League, but at the games they aren't allowed to sell anything with alcohol.

Non alcoholic beer is generally used by alcoholics to help ween them off alcohol...although imo it only makes things more difficult.

Coffee actually has extreme health benefits that we don't even understand yet. It's full of antioxidants and there are dozens of studies from dozens of different countries and cultures that have linked coffee to longer life. IIRC colon cancer and others is much lower in coffee drinkers. The caffeine is bad though... addictive and linked to anxiety.

Decaf is to enjoy coffee without the caffeine. You can add milk and sugar if you don't like plain coffee.

This makes perfect sense actually.

And yes, coffee is nature's wonder drug. I can't believe I started drinking coffee regularly till after I was 30 years old. Now I at least have two cups a day. More if it was really a long night the night before.

I use coffee only when I feel I actually need it, like after a near sleepless night or an extra stressful work day.

Coffee is very easy to get addicted to and dependant on. I've been there. And the headache and fatigue after getting off of it tells you its not something you should be drinking everyday imo.

2 cups isn't too bad though. I know people who drink an entire pot a day. Absolutely insane.

I used to love drinking a shit ton of black coffee then smoking a bunch of weed and getting a crazy intense paranoid panic attack where I felt like I was going into cardiac arrest. It was pretty fun.

I barely drank coffee until I got married? My wife got me hooked on the shit. I go between regular and decaf but recently I've mostly been on the latter. I like the taste and dont generally drink it for whatever boost the caffeine is supposed to provide.

Caffeine is nice but I try to stay off of it for the most part. I have noticeably better sleep and feel a lot more energized in the morning. When you are good and rested then you shouldn’t really need caffeine.

I like caffeine-free Coke if I'm in the mood for using cola as a mixer. Gotta limit the drinking on those nights though because Coca Cola + alcohol = punishment on the elliptical the next morning.
