View Full Version : Giannis deserved the MVP

Because it's a regular season award and has nothing to do with the playoffs (or FIBA) and because Giannis put up the best stats on the best team in the regular season.

Meanwhile, Lebron had another MVP candidate on a worse record. When was the last time Lebron put up 29.5/13.6/5.6 as DOPY? The answer is never.

The Toronto Raptors technically finished with a better record than the Lakers, 53-19 to 52-19, four games better than the Clippers.

Lebron can be the unofficial playoff MVP on the years his counterpart isn't winning FMVP.

Of course. As a regular season award there was nothing wrong with the Greek Freak winning the award. His team was the best in the regular season and he had a great year.

At this point Lebron needs another championship for his legacy far more than another MVP. Also a Finals MVP to give him 4 would mean more to his legacy at this point. No player in NBA history other than Jordan has more than 3.

Right, so Lebron and his fans should stop crying about all the times he finished second.

The most worthless MVP of all time.

Exactly, because it's based on regular season performance. If playoffs factored in, then LeBron would win pretty much every year

The most worthless MVP of all time.

I'm sure you remember Dirk's 07 MVP. The way his season ended was much more embarrassing than Giannis'

He sure did. Very uninspiring though.

We all know the bron stans never use logic.

They literally cannot get their head around it being a regular season award

It's weird and ironic af that some bran stans here (like the jackass above me) are fine with the idea that winning titles ain't everything but would suddenly flag giannis's b2b mvp titles as worthless just because of the fact that he remains chipless. :oldlol:

Lebron isn't better than Giannis because of his chips. He's better because he 100x the player Giannis is. Now put that cone back on your head and stfu bitch :lol

But i never said he was better than lebron in that aspect; of course, the latter is a thousand times better because he's been to the finals a total of more than five times already and that's a fact. :oldlol:

I'm just pointing out the insecurity here. You guys don't want to see giannis win another mvp award but if the lakers win the title later and ad becomes fmvp, then most of you won't have any trouble accepting it.

LeGeneral absolutely wrecked Giannis right before Rudy Gogurt put the season on hold.

It should have been clear who it was meant for.

LeBron impacts winning more than Giannis. His impact is full-spectrum, on and off the court, as GM and head coach and player.

Giannis cannot do what LeBron does. Giannis doesnt do what LeBron does.

Many Lebron fans will be upset because fans of a player want their star to win all the awards along with championships. That is natural.
