It’s obviously a big size (lol) difference regardless, but fighters do get super lean for weigh ins. A fighter Covington’s size could easily walk around at 200 and be in shape to throw down. So the weight difference isnt as dramatic in practice as it looks on paper.

I dont follow/know enough about mma fighting to be confident judging these things, altho I did think it was bullshit when Bron said Ronda Rousey would whup his ass. With m vs f, professional training is mitigated by much slighter size and coordination advantages. I would image man v man it takes a much more dramatic difference.
