View Full Version : Do you think that Lebron is going to catch Jordan in rings now?

This is going to be ring #4. And if nothing changes between now and the upcoming season, he is going to have ring #5 because there is no competition right now in the NBA. Not like back in the day.

With the way the way the game is played, Lebron is allowed to bulldoze his way to the rim. As long as he's allowed to do that, it's always an advantage for him. And now he has Anthony Davis, the best player in the league on his team.

I say no excuses. Either 6 rings or bust for Lebron.

Lol. Now Anthony Davis is the best player in the league?

You guys really jumped from "the Lakers have no shot because of the Clippers" to now "not only is he easily going to win this year, but next year as well."

This board is full of trolls.

He doesnt need 6 rings to surpass Jordan. With 4 he at least ties him, with 5 hes the GOAT

What do you mean 6 rings or bust lmao tf :oldlol: LeBron will be 37 next yr, 18th season facing tons of elite teams: Clippers, GS, Nets, Houston upcoming Mavs and Nuggets and there may even be new superteams so unless Pelinka surrounds him with GOAT level talent it wont be easy at all

Lol yes...4 rings and countless losses on more tries beats 6 rings and 6 fmvp.

Keep trying...

He will never be GOAT because he just simply isn't a better player...you're all handing out longevity awards and acting like averages dont matter hahahha

Fvck off, clowns d1ck

the goat talk will die down eventually but realistically if he can win 5 then hes got a chance at being #1 if you consider his accolades.

the only problem lies at the finals record and the teams he 'assembled' to get there.

While I think lebron is more talented than Jordan..Jordan's impact stats and wins and no finals losses are always a trump card.

Lebron with a 4th ring removes some arguments on other all time greats over him.

Jordan played in a watered down expansion era rings from the 2010s are worth double that of 90s rings

Lebron has zero chance.

Also OP, why don't you wait to melt down until the Lakers actually WIN a ring this year.

A very small chance. Even then I wouldn't count on it. Jordan is the GOAT.

Can you explain the talent part?

Can you even be bothered with the mental gymnastics and lies.

We are talking about a guy who doesn't even have good fundamentals....simple things like footwork and a solid jump shot.
He isn't even a great free throw shooter, and don't even get me started on pressure shots.

Dat second quarter bulldoze though!!!

They're pretty much equal already. If you take competition into account, either Jordan's rings in a watered down league amount to approximately 3 rings in today's era, whereas LeBron's competition amount to 6 or 7 rings if he were playing in the 90's.
