By the comparison, I mean obviously putting up an all-time elite run but having another teammate who is more dominant and wins FMVP? Right now Lebron is easily having a career low in MPG and shot attempts for a playoff run. There are a few reasons, but the obvious one is he had AD dominating alongside him and AD is the first option for scoring.

Now, this thread only matters if the Lakers actually get a ring and AD gets FMVP.

01 Kobe and 17 Curry for all measurements had incredible playoff runs, but were just slightly overshadowed by a teammate.

01 Kobe - 29/7/6/1.6/.8 on 55.5 TS%, 25 PER, 6.5 BPM (16 games) - 43.4 MPG

17 Curry - 28/6/7/2/.2 on 65.9 TS%, 27.1 PER, 9.7 BPM (17 games) - 35.4 MPG

20 Bron - 26/10/9/1.3/1.1 on 64.5 TS%, 28.6 PER, 9.3 BPM (12 games) - 34.2 MPG

I‘d guess it will be an 01 Shaq type ring

AD still has to win a future ring WITHOUT Lebron in order to retroactively validate this run. If he goes and loses in the first round three years in a row of his prime after Lebron retires, it kinda makes it hard to argue this run was all about him.

Right now, Lebron gets the credit regardless. Depending on what AD does in the future, he may earn a share of credit down the road.

Imagine if this happened to LeBrautwurst in his prime

Kobe stan, just use the eye test. Lebron setting the GOAT picks making the GOAT passes coasting at an all time GOAT level. We've never seen anything like this before.

:lol that's also possible I guess but Lebron would have to dominate the finals on a historic level...higher level than he is playing right now.

That is so ridiculous and laughable...can't even respond to it.

Agreed, always enjoy your objectivity. You're welcome. Having good posters is a rarity nowadays (especially on ISH). I try to listen to either side.

It’s as crazy as saying that MJ won chips without Pippen

Has any rational person ever said that MJ won chips without Pippen?
