Adam Silver revealed on Tuesday that the next season will begin in January at the earliest.

Silver reiterated that the NBA's goal for 20-21 is to play a standard 82-game season.

The NBA is finishing the 19-20 season playing at a single site campus in Orlando, but that is not expected to be repeated for next season

Good news: There will be 82 games and no prison bubble

Bad news: A 2020-21 season will not even be played in 2020.

Christmas Day was such a perfect start date.

While this is great for the fans, I've always thought it was disgusting to have players play during this time of year instead of being with their families.

How the hell are they gonna play 82 games if the season starts in January? Silver is retarded. Just do one more shortened season (60ish games) and then go back to normal in October 2021.

Just start in December. That's plenty of rest for the players, back to normal stadiums enough of this bulshit
