Finals record is always a dumb criticism. Whether it is franchise or individual player. It is always better to make the finals than to lose early. Nobody would rather be the Twolves than the Warriors last year.

Same with franchises, nobody would pick the Bulls over the Lakers just because the Bulls are undefeated in the finals. The Bulls would kill for a conference championship about now instead of being one of the worst teams in the league.

The lakers never won any finals during the 60s while their perennial rivals did the opposite.
