There are coaches better than doc. The bigots in this thread are reaching which they do often if they think Billy’s an obvious upgrade though he’s not a bad coach.

His whole tenure okc underachieved besides this year but okc has talent this year too. As bad at rotations as doc. Stuck way too hard with Adams vs small ball.

There’s not an obvious retread upgrade over doc. Dantoni has his issues and Atkinson doesn’t seem like a players coach, good but better for a young developing team imo. Lue wouldn’t help their defense. Would have to take a flier on an assistant
