:biggums:

Murray's having one of the best PG runs in recent memory...literally no one could stop him and he was making countless circus shots. Then when the Nuggets needed him the most he failed because LeBron put the ****ing clamps on him.

It's what makes the bad defense he played for a few previous seasons so inexcusable. He is still capable of playing the best man-to-man defense in the league so for him to be a bad defender it's not like Bird who just could not stop a good scorer but instead the conscious decision not to try.

The positive: James is the greatest "old" player ever and still a great athlete.

The negative: he's always been top calculating. You can't blame him for most (not all) of the teams of his that couldn't win in the playoffs. But he's only pulled off one upset (Warriors) and that's mostly about facing a better team but partially about James figuring they won't win and so not going all-out.

there was absolutely zero point in trying hard defensively in those Cavs when their overall defense was always going to suck due to their terrible personnel; and still he was at worse a net zero defender

A player should not think that way. A player should be focused on being the best leader he can be and winning. Both od those require giving defensive effort. It's fine for its fans to think that there's no way they beat Golden State. But a player whose job it is to beat them should be trying his best to do just that.

He had no confidence in that jumper just like game 3. The diff was in game 3 he still tried to force running the offense... he realized in 4th quarters while hes a very good pg.. rondo is a level up in decision making and pace so he did defense rebounding and getting out to run.

Credit either Vogel kidd or lebron himself to help him realize when hes rocky.. he still impacts the game in other ways.

That's what complaining to the league gets you; a rigged outcome. LeBron is a manufactured star for rating$. Wheels and other bran stains hate this truth.

It was good defense but it didn’t feel suffocating or like he put a straight jacket on him. There was some obvious fouls on Jamal that weren’t called either. If being fair.
