I missed game 4 but saw that while Murray played over 40 minutes, Jokic played only 30 something minutes. I also see lots of praise for Murray even though he had a negative plus-minus while Jokic had a positive plus-minus. Going just by the boxscore data I would think that the Nuggets lost because they played Murray too much and Jokic not enough. What gives?

What's your best guess if you take a closer look at that sheet?

Box score tells you wrong btw. I'm a big fan of Jokic and he played well below his standards while Murray was great. reason the Nuggets lost is Dwight killing Jokic on the boards. Tons of second change points. 10 for Dwight alone plus another 15 for the Lakers. Nuggets lost it on defensive effort, especially rebounding. Plus Jokic wasn't playing well.

Got 5 fouls early in the 4th

Coach opted to sit him, which I thought was a bad decision at the time. Chuck and Shaq pointed out that it takes you out of a rhythm as a player to sit like that. But I understand he doesn't want Jokic giving up wasy baskets in the paint because he's scared to get called for a 6th

Tough call, but you gotta play him
