They overachieved this year, just need to continue to develop their players, and get rid of Paul Milsap's worthless contract and they will be better. Though to get better is one thing, to contend for NBA titles is another thing. They are still quite far away from title contention, and its much easier to improve from first round to WCF, than from WCF to championship.

This. The Nuggets are not a "Championship or bust" type of franchise like the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks (lol) or others who have the pressure to win the ultimate prize every year. They are a middle-of-the-pack franchise that have done things very, very well since 2003. To get to the WCF is an achievement they should savour and enjoy, and they have a bright future they should embrace ahead of them, because they are a young and exciting team to watch. In other words, they should keep what they have and try it again in the upcoming years, taking into account that the West is going to have various powerhouse like the Warriors, Lakers, Clippers and maybe the Rockets.
