These same Heat decimated DPOY, MVP Giannis best record 1-seed like he was nothing.

Does L.A. have a chance?

The answer is either yes or no. Unless it's a maybe.

Heat are the best team I've ever studied

It is what it is...

LeBron is used to facing Juggernauts. This is expected. We'll see what happens

:oldlol::roll: I see the lebronze stans already getting the excuses ready. Afraid it will be another L for Lebron? 3 for 7 would be disgusting! He’s the favorite and his fans don’t have confidence in him.

Bronsexuals are very worried, and deservedly so. This Miami team is amazingly impressive.

You missed the most shocking thing. Their three top scorers are Dragic, Herro and Bam - three nobodies.

Remember the Atlanta Hawks from some years ago that had 5 players win Player of the Month at the same time? They're kind of like that.

Miami knows they cannot beat LeBron James and Anthony Davis with this group, but it's their job to try so they will try.

This is gonna be the hardest Finals ever.

GOAT 8th seed.

Rockets are locked and loaded and ready for LeBron. No way LeBron can beat them.

Nuggets humiliated the title favorites. No way the Lakers could beat the team who humiliated the team that everyone thought would humiliate LeBron.

Now he has to go against a team whose 4th option scores 19ppg?

:biggums:

This ring will be worth 4 if he wins. WOuld be the greatest upset in history if LeBron wins.

Bam with a highly underrated run so far.

How many guys have put up 22/11/5/2/1 over a long playoff run? That's like a Duncan/KG level statline.

The stats in the OP are just from the ECF against the Celtics, not the entire playoffs. Butler and Dragic are basically tied for being the Heat's leading scorer for the entire playoffs at 20.7ppg and 20.9ppg respectively.

Those are Bam's his Conference Finals averages.

His playoff averages are 18.5/11.4/4.9.

He's still in pretty good company but at the lowest level due to his low ppg.

Right now he's basically a poor man's Chris Webber from 2002 (23.7/10.8/4.7).

I tell you, numbers don't lie. If Lebron & the Lakers somehow pull a miracle & beat that offensive powerhouse of a team...Upset of the Ages folks. This will elevate to GOAT status, no question.

+1

Literally none of those posters are the same. That might be the worst gif I have ever seen.

Imagine a team so stacked that Jimmy Butler is your 4th option you can't tell me this Miami Heat seem is not stacked?

I want someone to search and see if any playoff team has ever had their 4th option score 19 points per game for a whole playoff series (6 games or more)

Let's look at the 2004 Olympic Team, what medal did they win? 2020 Heat didn't even have a top 10 MVP player in the league.

You're overlooking important pieces of information.

1) The Lakers score 113.9 points per game while the Heat only score 112.2 points per game.

2) The Lakers players as a group score more points per game.

3) It doesn't matter who scores the points as long as the points are scored.

Are the Lakers actually a deeper team because their 9th and 10th scorers by average (Alex Caruso and Markieff Morris) blow away the Heat's 9th and 10th scorers (Kendrick Nunn and Derrick Jones)?

https://s1.gifyu.com/images/HEAT-LAKERS.png

And on the defensive end the Lakers only allow 106.5 points per game while the Heat allow 107.2 points per game.

The Lakers score more points and allow less points. <------ This is the name of the game.

Exactly, they'll be lucky to get a game
