View Full Version : Coming to terms with LeBron’s 4th ring

How will most people here cope?

In earlier years, we saw a number of posters simply make themselves disappear in a hurry. More recently we've seen posters like LonelyBOY and others try to slide low key onto the bandwagon without a ticket, and just act like they were there the whole time.

We'll also see plenty of the usual denial about officiating, circumstances, competition etc. In other words the "but but but" defense.

But at the end of the day it isn't gonna matter. Because GOAT gonna GOAT.

AD leads all categories and was the Lakers' top producer and clutch player while making the Finals

so lebron won't win this year as the team's top producer or clutch player, and therefore will end his career with 3 rings.... as the top producer and clutch player, aka best player

don't be shocked - Wade was the top producer and clutch player in 2011, and Kyrie matched ledbron's playoff ppg and clutch in 16'.. of course, lebron was saved from losing by Ray in 13' (lebron was a net negative for the series)..

lebron's 16 on 39% thru 3 games of the 13' Finals caused a 7 game series and ray's save.. mj would never average 16 ppg, especially in meaningful games, so he wouldn't be down 1-2, and therefore wouldn't need 7 games to win

Nope

Lebron by far the Lakers top producer with 50+ppg accounted for. When players have almost same ppg, the guy with 7-8 more assists is always thought of as the main producer and by a huge margin... not even a debate

AD isn't even close

And LeBron is the best defender, and overall leader. And AD admits as much

Its not close, everything you say is a blatant lie. No credibility

Wade 28

^^^ lebron teamed up with a player better than Kobe, and then added a pau-like PF (Bosh)... he essentially teamed up with kobe/pau but proceeded to be a perennial underdog/loser (loser or underdog in 3 of 4 Finals)

so kobe >>> because he only needed a bosh-like PF to win rings, while lebron needed a Bosh at 3rd option and a kobe-like stud at #2

ultimately, lebron needs guys that are elite 1 st options to be his 2nd and 3rd options, aka stacked to the brim

LeBron haters are really pathetic to me. Not just using that word lightly either. Actually pathetic people. Wish they had more pride but some people just bask in loserdom.

For somewhere around 10 years these people have been at it. And have taken L’s progressively more and more for years. Saying nonsense and emotional horseshit. Trolling, mental gymnastics.

I don’t even like LeBron but I hope he wins the next 5 FMVP’s just to see them suffer.

Nope. And I really don’t even want Russell, Wilt and maybe even Kareem on my personal list. Have to respect Kareem to some extents.

If I mention Russell and Wilt, then I have to mention Mikan. Who gets oddly overlooked.

The game was in it’s infancy. And even Kareem, so much of his damage came in the pre merger days that it’s hard to gauge or take as seriously for me personally. Most of his championships came playing obvious second fiddle.

But if I was drafting out of all players in history, this is EXACTLY how I’d draft them off eye test, resume, accomplishments, building winning culture for franchises etc.

Lebron with his 4th ring had solidified his stance for top 5 all time. He was a borderline top 5 and a loss to the Heat/Butler would have dropped him out of top 5, but now its all but secured. He will move up to 3rd and surpass Magic if he wins his 5th ring this year, and a 6th ring will surpass Kareem. He is ineligible for GOAT since hes lost once in the Finals, so his ceiling is #2 all time. We will see if he can get there, hes already top 4 at worst.

it won't be his 4th ring and you shouldn't say it

Lebron James will end his lengthy career with 3 rings as the top producer/best player on his team

What if we don't count last years ring? It was a pandemic season. Not all teams even played out their regular season games.
