I am going to give it, Lebron James is the best player in the 2010-2019 decade.
But who do you have second?

ESPN All decade team

C: Anthony Davis ( since no notable center)
F: Durant
F: Lebron
SG: Harden
PG: Curry

Westbrook , Kawhi were left out by ESPN.

as far as talent its:

2. durant
3. curry

you can argue curry over durant if you're measuring team success.

Even though he's a snake ass bitch, it's KD.

What complete miscreant voted Giannis?

I am not sure if I should have included Dwight Howard, Klay Thompson, Blake Griffin, Jimmy Butler, Damian Lillard instead of kobe/dirk/wade/duncan.
But anyway none of them in run for second best player in 2010s decade

i actually went with curry. i just think he's so good at his peak it's enough to make up for kd being great the whole decade while curry was only a nice player from 10-12. Also one of those guys who value curry a little more than kd when they played together even though kd got the fmvps

KD easily

KD was 2nd in MVP voting the first year of the decade (2010) and was having one of the GOAT playoff runs in the last year of the decade (2019). Even on one leg he was the best player on the floor in game 5 in the 1st quarter and that quarter allowed GS to not be beaten in 5 games

Steph wasnt even a factor until 2014 which was his first AS and All NBA selection

KD was a top 3-5 player every year of the decade besides 2015 when he was hurt (and his team missed the playoffs without him) and was the best player in the league multiple years too

How was his career before joining a 73-win team that beat him?

Lets cut this down to KD and Curry

2010: KD >> Curry
2011: KD >> Curry
2012: KD >> Curry
2013: KD >> Curry
2014: KD >> Curry
2015: KD > Curry
2016: Curry >> KD
2017 =
2018 =
2019 =

Has to be KD, even though I prefer peak Curry and if he had the higher impact as teammates between them and I'd probably pick him as better player the last 3 years.

You think peak Curry was that much better than peak KD?

I would say it's a wash and could be argued either way. Interesting that you think Curry's peak was easily better.

Durant for sure. Then it's Curry at #3

It’s not a huge gap so I wouldnt say easily but clearly better imo. Kds peak is either 14 or one of the gs years depending on your preferences 16 admittedly ended badly but the rs is just so great and kd didn’t win in 14 either. Kds peak is on that kobe/tmac lvl imo, curry during the rs was getting compared to mj, shaq, lebron and I don’t think one series though it should drop him a lot is nearly enough to drop him that much.

If you think kds peak came with gs, I said earlier I thought curry was more impactful/better when they played together I definitely don’t think it’s a wash.

Thts likely a bigger factor in me going curry than Curry’s peak being better though it’s a bit unpopular. I’m not one of those guys who says the warriors didn’t need durant at all but cant ignore the impact stuff and defenses usually focused on curry for sure.

Voted Curry by a hair. It's VERY close with him and KD.

Have no issue with either being the choice.
