West, 50, told “Good Morning Britain” on Friday that he felt “joy” at the news of Trump’s illness.

Ex-spokeswoman Zara Rahim, who has also worked for Barack Obama and Vogue magazine, said in a since-deleted tweet that she “hopes he dies.”


Rahim’s deleted tweet had said, “It’s been against my moral identity to tweet this for the last four years, but I hope he dies.”

She also tweeted a smiling selfie captioned “This f***ing rules.”

Her Twitter feed has now gone private.

IMO Trump has inherited some bad dynamics in the Middle East, so there are circumstances and therefore it's a pass in my book.

I'll go on record saying there's roughly a ~98% chance he will survive this.

If he doesn't, a big part of it will be that he was old/frail, lacked a functioning immune system, and it's very unfortunate that he died. (Of course COVID plays a role, but so do all the things I just mentioned).

Clinically, I'm concerned about his lack of sleep. Sleep is very important for the immune system, and the president is known to get very little sleep.
