What he should do:

-Clearly differentiate his COVID policy vs Biden's. Trump's policy is to do a pointless half-assed lockdown with his quack team of Fauci/Birx/Redfield/Adams/etc., while Biden wants a strict, full pseudoscience/totalitarian approach, led by Trump's hand-picked leader, Anthony Fauci

What's the story here? That Trump downplayed all the doomsday idiots who predicted 20,000,000 Americans would be hospitalized for COVID? His instincts were correct, but Trump completely overreacted to the virus in March by following the quack science of Drs. Fauci/Birx/Adams

Yup. Having Fauci in front of a microphone every single day while giving his opinions was a mistake. The man let his popularity get the best of him. Fauci doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
