The upcoming Laker dynasty looks like it could be a lengthy one if LeBron takes a paycut to bring in a third star. The supporting cast is a bit on the old side with Howard, McGee and Green being old timers...

How do you see the Lakers re-upping after next season when Bran is a free agent?

They obviously need to package Kuzma

Why get a third star to take away touches from Bron and AD when you can just fill out the roster with shooters?

Luka will slay Bran in 2021 or 2022. He's the new king :pimp::bowdown:

Keep the core Lebron, Davis, KCP, Green(not worth 15mil), Bradley, Rondo, Dwight(leave for more money or stay to compete for chips), Caruso, Morris, Mcgee(did a fair job starting in regular season), Talen(showed some promise but needs to develop).

Bring back Rondo and Davis NOP buddy, Cousins. Find more shooters and a defensive wing, KCP/Green wont cut it and cant expect Lebron defend the opposing teams best wing player. It's slim pickings but you see what LeElevate did to Dwight and Rondo this year, heck even Davis.

I was wondering about this myself, but how many years of premium Bran can the Lake show get before needing an offensive lift?

lebron's not taking a paycut he already said that. hopefully for la his play is "only" good enough to demand 30-35mil 2 years so they have room for a 3rd star. you dont need a 3rd star with lebron/ad but you do need a star to compliment ad for the future

Exactly this. Let's see what moves Don Pelinka can do while staying in front of the pack. The Clippers will be better a year from now as well as Denver and Dallas

i hate to say it but the obvious target in 2022 when lebron might be a fa too(think he picks up player option) is harden. Fit with the 3 wouldnt be great and you can hate on harden for his flaws but he's a good future partner with ad. backup plan is to get a sub max 3rd guy for lebron's last few years and go for a superstar after bron retires

I can’t see LeBron not retiring in Cleveland.

sure but i think that's a one year type of thing. I should've said when bron leaves la then
