Let me know when a no name like Chris Childs gives LeBron a 2 piece combo. Also you never saw LeBron get an ass beating like Jordan received from 185lb Reggie Miller. Next.

.
it's because lebron never does this (4:41 - 5:10):
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OoVMIZWS_-A&t=04m42s
4:43 mark - Jordan hits his 80th jumper in a row
4:54 - Riley calls timeout to decide how to double jordan
5:03 - Starks looks demoralized walking to the bench - WHAT.... MUST.... I......DO..... he thinks
otoh, lebron lacks the jumpshooting skill to "take over" and demoralize the defender

Players talked back and chirped at those guys all the time. Reggie, Glen Rice, Rex chapman, Vernon Maxwell, half the Pistons, Xavier Mcdaniel, John Starks, Danny Ainge, and plenty of others talked shit to Jordan. Like 4-5 of them got nose to nose or pushed him. That was common at the time. I cant think of anyone too respected to talk shit to back then. About the only player I remember almost nobody beefing with out of sheer respect was Doctor J and he had run ins too most famously with Bird.
People talked back to Jordan when he talked trash all the time. Stars and role players. Has nothing to do with how good he was. Just the way it is.
People absolutely talked shit back to Jordan and he got in way more altercations than either Lebron or Kobe because he would talk or someone would talk to him.
He wasnt just cussing dudes out who took it because he was Michael Jordan.

To be honest. Back then young guys wanted to go at MJ and to a lesser extent Kobe. Nowadays guys coming in seem to want to fan boy Lebron rather than beat him on the court.

100% Paul Pierce just said a few days ago and he is a big LeBron hater. Pierce said guys come in the league and they see LeBron and they are SHAKING and scared to go against him. And they have every reason to be

Stack outscored the degenerate gambler while taking over a shot less per game too. And to top it off he averaged more assists.
I forgot that Larry Hughes was also on that team. LeBron dragged that bum to the finals in 2007 as his #2 guy while MJ couldn't even make the playoffs with him as his #3 guy. In a weaker east than in 2007 too. :lol

"Forward Paul Millsap revealed that he was less than pleased with LeBron James’ decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers.
During his interview with The Athletic, Millsap noted that he was trying to get away from LeBron James in the Eastern Conference:
“I told him, ‘Man, I tried to get away from you in the East,’” Millsap told The Athletic in a phone interview. “‘Then you came to the West.’ But finally, we’re at this juncture in the Western Conference Finals fighting to get to the championship game. He’s got several championships and I’m trying to get my first and I feel like this is my time to do that.”
So … does Paul Millsap have any extra motivation to beat LeBron James and the Lakers this season? Of course he does:
“I’d be lying I said I didn’t,” Millsap said on having a personal goal of beating James in the conference finals.
“I felt like we had really good teams and we always came up short and at the end of the day I’m just tired of coming up short in those situations, especially against him,” Millsap said. “Nothing personal, but you want to compete against the best and beat the best and I’m ready to make that next step.”

Yeah but a number of role players went at Bron. From back to his Cleveland days into Miami/Cleveland deux and now the Laker era. Haywood, Arenas, KG, Pierce, Lance, Marion, Stevenson, Noah, Beverly, Curry, Klay, Draymond. Kobe did too in some of their H2H's.
Some went at MJ too. For sure. He just wasn't disrespected the way Lebron has been though. That is obvious. You jawed at Mike and he would make you his sole focus. In a way that wasn't overtly 1 on 1, but would still get the best of that duel.

You misread. I didn't say that Kobe had no respect for him.
Bean was among a list of players who jawed at Lebron, and went at him during their matchups. To Bron's credit, he balled out in many of those duels.
Still, Bron gets disrespected on a level Jordan didn't. Marion, Stevenson and Haywood would literally go out of their way to punk dude.

I gotcha, but what about the bad boys? The Knicks? These guys went at roughed up and in some cases tried to fight Mj as well. Vernon Maxwell has an interview out there where he's basically saying Mj was begging him to chill out when he went at him during games. I'm not saying guys never got at Lebron either, it's just silly to not remember things like what I stated, or Raja Bell, Matt Barnes, Childs etc. Most stars have people go at them at some points of their career.

People do act like these guys are infallible. You're not on that level without conflict, especially then when trash talk and physicality were the norm.
Don't know about Jordan being "scared" of Maxwell though. There was a game in the early 90s where they tussled and MJ put his hands on Maxwell. Mike probably thought dude was nutty because after games Vernon wanted him to sign memorabilia for his kids. :lol They didn't call him "Mad Max" for nothing.

Oh yeah Vernon was a certified street goon lol. I'm referring to an interview he did sometime in the last few years. Said something along the lines of I wanted to fight Mj every time we played lol. I'm a Houstonian and I was here during the Rockets chip years and I didn't know anything about it, so when I read his story I was kinda taken back. I'll see if I can find it and I'll post it.
