Besides Lebron and AD guys I would like to see back is Rondo, Bradley, Caruso, Morris, Howard , KCP, Horton-Tucker .. ones who need to be cut are MCGhee, Waiters and JR and ones traded are Green and Kuzma for Olidipo..

Lakers can add another stretch big man who can shoot as FA to replace MCGhee..

Do those things it’s a repeat next year.

Imagine trading 2 decent players for 1 legged Oladiopo who cant play defense thus going against the Lakers gameplan of defense first. Kuz+DG+28th pick for a legit wing player.

Why on earth would they replace KCP? You want them to have NO shooting :lol

Would love to see Kuzma replaced with Lauri Markkanen if he doesn't take Bulls extension

Same age, same height, better shooter, coming off a down year

Rotting away in Chicago

Dwight- Gets a ring, repairs image, some team will give him $8-10M a year. I think Dwight takes the money and is just here for one year.
McGee- Stays. Loves his role, is a good regular season Center to have.
Kuzma- Stays. Cheap. Good regular season scorer. Gonna need young bodies for Lebron's eventual Load management games (I predict he load manages 10-12 games)
Rondo- Keep. but you have to keep fresh. Rondo is better for mid to end of season. You literally need to get a consistent shooting PG or pray Caruso can playmake more
KCP- Keeper and starter. Earned it. Also only 27 and is a good 3 and D
Green- Hard to say

Lakers will need a SF that can score and defend (Kelly Oubre level works) and a PG that can pass and score (Goran Dragic)

Actually think Dragic would be a good fit on the lakers.

Untouchable: LeBron, AD, Morris, Howard, KCP (if we cant get a better 3&D guy), Rondo (if we cant get a better shooting PG) and Bradley

Everyone else can go

Basically trade DG and get someone who can reliably shoot. Possibly throw in Kuz, but he could possibly stay.

Keep Bradley, Caruso, KCP, Rondo, DH, THT, and Morris.

Also, sign Cousins again

Yes if Lakers can cut lose MCGhee and resign cousins that would solve that.. also adding a behrtans or Markadin (spelling) would be nice..

Lakers should look into trading Lebron for Beal.

They will have a lot of expiring contracts so they could make some packages, but on the other hand they won't want to take on salary for next year's postseason since as of right now they will only have Bron and AD on the payroll.

The Lakers guards do not need to be defensive specialists with AD, Howard and LeBron behind them. The presence of those three guys in the front court would turn someone like Oladipo into a better defender.

Tony Parker was a poor defender. Ray Allen was a poor defender. But put them in front of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett and they turned into useful defenders.

The same thing would happen with someone like Oladipo in front of Anthony Davis.

Look at Rondo right now, for example.

Oladipo can't play defense? Are you retarded? He was literally first team all defense.

Dwight- Gets a ring, repairs image, some team will give him $8-10M a year. I think Dwight takes the money and is just here for one year.

Dwight would be out of the league right now if the Lakers didn't sign him. He'll be getting a ring. He'll also be getting more minutes next year since he'll likely be starting over JaVale. He has accepted his role as a DeAndre Jordan type of guy and has thrived. More than any other reason, the Lakers will want to keep him around to defend against Jokic in the playoffs. Some team will offer him 8-10M, but probably not on a multiyear deal since he's 35. At this point in his career, he's not going to want to leave the Lakers and start all over on another team and have to adapt to a new role. A one year deal won't lure him away. I'd bet the Lakers offer him a 3 year deal in the 15-18M range with a team option on the 3rd year.

McGee- Stays. Loves his role, is a good regular season Center to have.

He's a cheap contract and is very productive relative to his salary. He's a safe bet not to get traded.

Kuzma has still been wildly inconsistent offensively and is still a weak defender prone to mistakes on coverage. He's going to be traded because some teams will overestimate his upside as a scorer and the Lakers aren't going to be able or willing to pay what he'll want when his rookie contract is up. Waiting to see which dipshit team is going to be the next Sacramento Kings and offer Kuzma some Harrison Barnes type of deal.

Rondo is a definite keeper. He's still a valuable playmaker and someone who takes a load off Lebron's shoulders running the point.

KCP decent value for his contract.

Green has been pretty bad for what he's getting paid. He got overpaid because he had a really good year in Toronto. Lakers will probably try to package him in any trade deal involving Kuzma.

I expect the Lakers to offer Morris a minimum deal to keep him on.

Why do a lot of player only fans concern themselves with team dynamic too much?

I'm sure a lot of the actual team fans would have wildly different hopes.

Javale and Bradley are picking up their po’s, not sure about kcp but think he does. Give your small mle to Morris, I don’t think there are much better options out there. Whether rondo picks up po or not, give him another minimum. Howard could definitely be gone for more than min so maybe take a flier on cousins

Most ambitious idea is to trade kuz, green or Bradley or even kcp and 28th for a nice wing. Oladipo isn’t happening for that package since Indiana wants to run it back

I look at someone like oubre or Barton who can score well off the bench and are decent defenders and their teams have younger guys taking their minute. Dennis Schroeder aa a pg option is nice as he improved his shot greatly this year and can run an offense though I’m less likely to include kuzma for him.

all these options aren’t likely since you’re not offering great value but possible. don’t love rose for la since he’s a poor defender and not an outside threat. I’ll also always push a redick trade though wouldn’t do a kcp for redick swap now like earlier in the year. Lebron and shooting always works.

I think Kuz has not been treated fairly, he has a good attitude, taken whichever role the team asks of him and has never complaint at all. But he really has a low BBall IQ.

They can’t trade kuz his contract is worth peanuts you won’t get anything of value back. He still has decent games here and there..

Green can go. Dwert will take one last payday somewhere else and go back to his usual lazy self.

Just need a few younger 3 and d types. Would love if they brought back Boogie though, shame they ditched him for bench warmer waiters..

I was wrong about Kuzma. Idk what happened with his shooting. His overall offense and D stayed great throughout the entire postseason but the shooting...

Some said he had beef with MPJ and Herro so maybe he lost his focus and wasnt near as great because of that but I dont think we should bet on him again next season unless we really dont have the choice.

Next season is LeBron's last chance at a chip so its no gamble time

The team needs tweaks with competition from Brooklyn-GSW coming next year.

I would put Kuzma-Green together into some trade deal. Green is expiring, and Kuzma would be viewed by some teams as next good player coming

PG: Lebron/Caruso/Rondo
SG: KCP/Bradley
SF: Lebron/X
PF: Davis / Millsap
C: Howard/Mcgee

Sign Millsap, if he wants to ring chase. Trade Kuzma-Green for that X position.
