Last time I got the snow crab legs they were small and pathetic so I would get the king crab legs. Lobster is also good, I like the tail. I got virgin daiquiris growing up, they are great for kids. Like a frozen slushie made with real strawberries. I think it it's mango-strawberry now but you can probably ask for plain strawberry

Not sure about the U.S. but prices for live lobster have really dropped in Canada.

We stopped exporting our lobster to China finally.. also the decline in demand from restaurants because of covid dropped the prices.

It's a great time to cook lobster at home.

I guess if you live nowhere near the ocean and Red Lobster is all you've got then that's all you've got. Can't really fault anyone for that.

I much prefer living in a place like I do where I can drive five minutes from work or home and find myself standing on a dock handing a fisherman $20 and being handed two 1-1.5 lb lobsters that were in the ocean an hour ago.

But the trade off for me is I'll never be able to buy a truly great, fresh ribeye steak like my fellow citizens in the midwest can.

Seafood is honestly trash. Even fresh... I have fresh salmon from a fishing trip that I just give away because its so unsatisfying to eat. All seafood is light and unsatisfying. People think its good because of marketing... it's horrible and needs bread crumbs and sides to make up for the blandness
