North Korea showed off a gigantic new intercontinental ballistic missile Saturday that analysts described as the biggest of its kind in the world, as the nuclear-armed country defied the coronavirus threat with thousands of maskless troops taking part in a military parade.
Several analysts described it as the largest road-mobile liquid-fueled missile anywhere, with Harry Kazianis of the Center for the National Interest saying it was "much bigger and clearly more powerful than anything in the DPRK's arsenal."
Nuclear negotiations between Pyongyang and Washington have been deadlocked since the collapse of the Hanoi summit early last year and the North is widely believed to have continued to develop its weapons throughout the diplomatic process.
It already launched a missile with the range to reach anywhere in the continental United States in 2017, but analysts suggested the new weapon -- based on that rocket -- could have multiple re-entry vehicle capabilities, helping it evade U.S. defenses.
The entire time Trump was writing love letters and eye fvcking lil Kim, the regime was developing the largest mobile missile in the world. How did you master negotiator get outwitted so badly Trumpanzees?
Lil Kim made Trump look like an idiot and Donald is fuming
President Donald Trump has reportedly expressed his fury over what appear to be sophisticated new missiles unveiled by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at a military parade on Saturday.
'Trump is really angry about [North Korea's] missile parade' and is 'really disappointed' in Kim after fruitless peace talks, an unnamed source told Vox national security reporter Alex Ward.
