What a roller-coster season for them.

They had some hope LeBron would fail again to get a ring after Kawhi joined the Flippers. Then it was the season shutdown. Then, it was the "worst offensive team in the bubble" thing, "they'll get smacked by the red hot Blazers". One playoffs run missed and they forgot playoffs Bron was a thing

But it seemed their dream was finally coming true with the strike, it was over for LeBron for sure. Then after G1 of the WCSF, it was the Rockets' unguardable small-ball and perimeter shooting. LeBron is finally playing a real team in the 2nd round. Wild wild west.

Then they lit candles for the comeback kids to pull off another miracle. Unfortunately, LeGOAT happened. Then the 12-3 Heat gave them one of their last spark of hope and when it looked like it was over they started cheering for AD to get FMVP.

All of this just to see LeQuattro, 4 rings, 4 FMVPs you gotta feel for them :(

Number 1 ring but this season was probably the worst season they could ever have. They 99% thought 17th season LeBron wouldnt get past the 2nd round.

It would definitely be 16. He beat a great team and was down 3-1. This year was weird i dont think anyone really cares what happened tbh. Shit just look at the ratings

This couldn't have gotten any worse for LeHaters.

The Clippers choking a 3-1 lead against the Nuggets makes it worthwhile.

This.

73 win team.

Up 3-1

Game 7.

Down to the wire, the last possession.

It's like the biggest blue balls in history.

Not the most impressive. That would be 2016.

2020 definitely has the most impact though.

Bron now joins MJ with 4 or more FMVPs which will net him GOAT comparisons. With another ring, Bron and Jordan will be seen as equals imo. Many would argue in Bron's favor too.

2012-13 was a year of torture for them. Olympics all the way to Ray Allen’s shot, to LeBron’s close out game 7.

2016 in itself wasn’t what it should’ve been. Cavs were genuinely overlooked all year. LeBron had a bad luck aura from the previous two finals. Celebrating didn’t last long because of KD.

This is pretty awful for them though. It has to be exhausting for them. I just mentioned 3 separate eras of b-ball as far as play style. And LeBron just won’t die. And he won’t stop pushing boundaries. And it’s becoming genuinely undeniable with no end near.

The tide is changed, the average fan is admitting how good LeBron is.

Actual morons didn’t think LeBron was top 10 caliber in 2013/14 ish and really believed it. The average ISH poster didn’t believe it.

Now we’re talking top 2, 3 at worst.

But May 2012 - June 2013, and even some of the 2014 season was just torture for these idiots. Nothing will top it.

2016 was the shift in casual fan opinion which I guess matters most, but it wasn’t actually a bad year at all. They were insufferable just before that and well after it.

The 16' chip and finals will always be the worst for them but for an entire season? I would say 20'. LeBron and/or his team looked done at several points.

*Opening day. Remember the "LeBron is washed up" talk after that game?
*Christmas. The Clippers were crowned champs after that.
*Covid-19. It looked like there may not even be a champion.
*The bubble. The Lakers were shaky during the 8 regular season bubble games. There was renewed "LeBron is washed" talk.
*Game 1 first round. Wild wild west! LeBron exposed!
*Game 1 ECSF. Wild wild west! LeBron won't even get out the second round.
*Clippers-Nuggets series. The great hope of LeBron haters didn't even make it to the WCF to face the Lakers.
*FMVP. They hung their hats early in the finals on AD winning FMVP but the result was 11-0 LeBron.

Lol, if we're talking full season I would agree with this. But strictly after the Finals being over? 2016 was the most brutal fashion imaginable for that to end

Agreed. For a given moment/week, easily the 16' finals. For a full season, though, I would say 20'.

It is funny because he was doubted on all four of them, but once he won then all of a sudden we were told how easy they were. People forget that after 2011, boards were flooded with people that said Lebron was never going to win a ring. People also forget how many people had OKC beating the Heat in 2012. It is revisionist history that "the Thunder were young and had no chance." At the time they were a team that beat Kobe and the Lakers in 5 and beat a good Spurs team winning 4 in a row. They had homecourt and we were told "Durant is better than Lebron!"

This one is probably the most painful though. They'll lie about it now, but they really believed he had no shot this year and with his age believed he wasn't going to win another title.
