He is not sure about which option he's going to take to stay with the Lakers. There are a few ways he can proceed. That's what he meant about not being sure. He already committed to following LeBron for 9 more rings and Bron isn't going anywhere.

He better say that. I hope that LeBron is guiding him to pressure Pelinka to improve the squad as much as possible.
They need to avoid making the same mistakes as the 2013-14 Heat, who thought that Michael Beasley was the solution to all their problems from the 2012-13 roster. I think he will sign a 1+1 contract, and watch whether Lebron is willing to pass the torch and let him be the alpha of the team. If Lebron wont, AD will walk after next summer. If Lebron keeps his promises and plays AD's second fiddle, then AD will stay long term by renewing his contract next year.
