DMVP, or double MVP, is characterized by winning both MVP and FMVP in the same season. It is the metric of pure domination of a single season, a player winning DMVP means he is the best in both regular season and playoffs, and therefore unanimously the best player of that season. Below is a list of players who have achieved DMVP in any seasons:

# of DMVPs:
Michael Jordan: 4(1991, 1992, 1996, 1998)
Lebron James: 2(2012, 2013)
Larry Bird: 2(1984, 1986)
Kareem Abdur Jabaar: 1(1971)
Magic Johnson: 1(1987)
Hakeem Olajuwon: 1(1994)
Shaq O'Neal: 1(2000)
Tim Duncan: 1(2003)

As we can see, the list comprises of 8 of top 10 players of all time, the 2 missing from the list(Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain) were because FMVP award didnt exist in their early MVP winning seasons(Wilt Chamberlain in 1967 and Bill Russell in many seasons). Thoughts?

Turns out that lebron james was the last guy to win them both in the same season. Who's going to succeed him?
