James Harden averaged 39/7/6 against the Miami Heat last season. Harden is also 18-7 vs Butler in the regular season and playoffs. 4-1 in the playoffs. A duo of Tatum and Harden is unstoppable in the east. They can sign a big man like Lauri Markkannen in free agency.

We want James Harden too, and Serge Ibaka. Come on Sean Marks, make it happen.

He will ruin their culture. They need guys who will buy in. They have an excellent coach who shouldn't have to pander to a player like Harden.

A package of Jaylen Brown, a couple of 1st rounders, and fillers should do the trick.

Get it done, Danny!

Harden and Tatum is a solid duo in the east. Harden always outplayed Butler head to head.

This. They need to give their current team a couple of more chances to get to the Finals/win the chip. They are not that far.

I have never heard anything negative about Harden in the team culture sense? There are no strong personalities on the Celtics besides Smart but he isn't a super star. I think Celtics would be fighting for chips with Harden

Not feeling it. The team is already low on depth after any credible deal it would just be Harden and a skeleton crew. Houston isn't going to give him up for Jaylen Brown alone. And I'm good with that because I'd rather see what Brown and Tatum can do long-term.

This would be a very interesting trade. Not sure if the Rockets are even open to something like this though. They would be going into full rebuild mode if they traded Harden - but they would still be stuck with Westbrook's contract.
