who is the better coach?
Jeff or Stan Van Gundy
as both names have been floating around now as teams are in need of a new coach

Jeff hasn't coached in the NBA in a while but he's the Team USA coach for the last 3 years and is still an active NBA analyist on TV


Stan took D-Ho to the finals, and recently coached in Detroit, but couldn't save its team or the city.

I mean they're brothers and theyre close, so anything one knows about coaching, the other knows.

I doubt one of them has some idea, or philosophy, or cunning play to draw up at the end of games that he hasnt shared with the other.

Realistically, probably neither is "better" than the other. Any reasons a viewer might concoct to posit one is the 'better' coach are probably superficial.

I'd say Jeff but who knows as long as he's been gone. The game has changed a lot. Stan is a better offensive coach
