With the exception of the NFL pretty much every sport has seen rating drops of 40-50%+ this year.

LeBron was ratings gold in his Finals appearances from 2011-2018. Highly doubt people suddenly lost interest. It's just been a crazy year.

It was a little bit of everything. Covid with the bubble and no fans obviously is the biggest. Next is probably the team in the finals. People want to see stars and competition. Heat provided neither. Who wants to say they witnessed the worst finals team ever? Third is more and more viewers leaving cable and streaming. Fourth and probably the least impact is People may be tired of lebron colluding for chips.
