The Pacers are fairly young and/or starting their prime. The entire roster is made up of players on good deals. Some people think this year proves they can't contend for a title because they were swept by Heat. But the team had a bunch of first year Pacers in Brogdon, Warren, Lamb, McConnell, Justin Holiday, Sampson, Bitadze. A bunch of players missed games and they still got 4th seed for home court. When Pacers were swept by the Heat they didn't have Sabonis who is the their best player.
Would you run it back for a second season with a team that will be in its second season together fully healthy?
Make a couple trades, possibly even for a star-ish player like Beal?
Trade most of the roster for the best young players/draft picks to tank like Hinkie for a a potential superstar/stars?
