If he was drafted in which player's spot?
Kobe? To have Shaq?
MJ? To have Pippen?
Duncan? To have Parker?
Magic? To have Kareem?
Bird? To have McHale?
Which spot? He wins more than anyone in all spots anyway but just curious, which one would be hardest for LEGOAT

He would win less than all of them. He has already played with Ben Wallace, Shaq and couldn't win. He played with Duncan, Iverson, Wade, Dwight and got bronze medals twice. He lost to a German in the finals.

Maybe Wilt as well through I think Lebron would at least get 4 rings with 2 with the 76ers and 2 with the Lakers in 1967 1968 1972 1973.

Kobe? To have Shaq? Lebron gets maybe 3 here because of how young Kobe was.
MJ? To have Pippen? Lebron gets 0 because he would have left before Pippen developed into a star which took a few years. Also ball dominant so what would Pippen do without the ball in his hands?
Duncan? To have Parker? Lebron would get 0 here as well because he takes the ball out of Parker's hands and Parker wasn't a star from the get go.
Magic? To have Kareem? He gets maybe 2 titles probably in 1982 and 1985. None after.
Bird? To have McHale? He gets two in 1984 and 1986

Excuse me what Lebron with Kareem wins at least 7 rings in the '80s and adding big game James in 82 is just overkill for that team who have a scary big three.
Lebron if he replaces Magic wins in 1981 and 1984 and has a huge chance to win in 1989 as well as he would not be out for the series like Magic was In 1989, therefore, i have Lebron walking away with 7 rings if he replaces magic.

Yeah it was totally Lebron's fault the 2004 USA team didn't win a gold. Lebron was 19 and barely played. Honestly, you could make a strong case USA would have won done better had they played him more and focused him more in the offense. For example, in their loss to Argentina which clinched their Bronze, Lebron played 3 minutes. But yeah how dare he not win with Allen Iverson who shot 3-12 against Argentina and 4-12 in their loss to Lithuania. It must have been Marbury's fault that Stephon Marbury shot 10-29 in those two losses!

Duncan. He wasn't what the Spurs needed, so they would have to change their whole line up. And seeing prime Shaq camping the paint and LeBron would be interesting. And without Duncan, Shaq would be fest more. I guess they could rely on D-Rob, but I think without Duncan, the spurs gott'a get another big to slow him down. Him playing in that whole era would be interesting. Although I don't see them winning in 2003 without Duncan. Even with LeBron. And 05 would be interesting. Not too sure they win in 99, but they have more of a shot than 03 and 05.
He'll win with Kareem. It'll just be different. Magic controlled the pace and offense better. LeBron is more of a scorer and attacking the paint. Magic, when he was open, tend to take the shots more in mid 80s. The problem is the spacing. It'll be cool to see LeBron attack with Parish/Mchale camping the paint. The 80s had no spacing like it is today. I think he'll take more jumpbers. But LeBron is a big guy. And he'll kill it in the transition offense. It won't be as flashy as Magic, but it'll have more dunks.
With Bird, I think he'll win more? Or at least have closer games in 85 or 87. It depends on how good Lebron defense will be on Magic if they stick him on him. And I don't see LeBron getting hurt as often, but it was different time. Medicine, nutrition, work outs is more effective now. He'll have less money to spend on his body. Regardless, I think he'll do better in 88.
LeBron with Pippen? Knicks will be a problem. Suns and Portland. Pippen or LeBron game will have to change tho. They played too similar and they can't shoot that well. LeBron is more streaky and is used to having the ball in his hands. And the triangle doesn't really allow much for a point guard and is focus on the post. So, I think Phil Jackson might change it up. LeBron will probably play differently. He might win the same, might not. I can totally see 92 and 93 will be problem. Not only for the style of play, the defense. 98 is something LeBron is used to tho. Carrying teams. The Pacers will be interesting. And he'll have to carry that team offensively.
With Kobe? I think he might win the same amount of rings? Maybe? 2002 Kings would be interesting tho. And 2000 Portland. They might lose a game with the Spurs in 01. I dunno if they win in 04.
I don't think he'll win the same with some of these tho. They would have to change the team. The type of defense that was played and the style is different. The spacing wasn't as good back then as it was today. So, I think he might struggle a little bit more. Assuming if he could keep the same body type, I think he'll be a PF more? Although, showtime Lakers he might be the same.

It is hard to say for sure for obvious reasons but it is a useful exercise, especially since people emphasize team results so often without factoring in team situations.
LeBron/Shaq would easily win more. Kobe was a role player for several years. LeBron would be contributing out the gate and that already was a contender with Shaq, Jones, Van Exel. LeBron also presumably would not run Shaq out of town (he got along with Wade, Bosh, Love, Davis--although he has issues with Irving), which would extend their window even more. Then he would get Gasol and co. later on.
LeBron would win 6 with the Bulls as well. They win in 94' and don't win in 98' so the net is 6 again.
Duncan--more.
Magic--more, 84' would flip to a Lakers chip. 86' probably make the finals but they wouldn't beat the 86' Celtics.
Bird--more. A couple of those finals and and ECF losses would become chips.
The answer to the OP is maybe Russell? It is hard to match or top 11 chips in 13 years, but you can say that about KAJ or MJ too in that hypothetical for the same reason.
