I think the problem with your take amigo, is that once these kids become adults, it will then affect the rest of us. I think you're arguing in favor of the technical right to do it without being stopped by the government.

Some parts of parenting absolutely should be regulated, especially the stuff that has life-long rammifications for the child. Regardless of what a kids parents think, in this country we dont allow 8 year olds to do "permanent" things like getting tattoos or signing legally binding contracts... and in that vein we probably shouldnt be allowing kids to make permanent lifelong changes to their biology either.

Also, there are a lot of insane parents that are pushing this shit on their children, children who havent gone thru puberty and have virtually zero understanding of sex/gender. It doesnt even have to be nefarious - kids naturally seek approval from their parents, how many of these supposedly trans kids were nudged into it by a mentally broken millenial mom who constantly talks about the bravery of trans people, and showers the kid with endless love and praise with the kid "comes out"?
