The only middle of the road, middle of the pack, number FIVE seed to ever make an NBA finals.

Led by Jimmy Butler. He is a bad boy. Ultra competitive, wants it more than virtually everybody. While simultaneously not having top 15 levels of talent. But he is a top 15 to top 20 player. Underdog for sure.

And then the two up-and-coming honor roll students, Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson. Those two milk men were lighting dudes up. The future is bright for them.

They’re a Giannis signing away from being the best team in the league.

The sad truth is that his supporting cast was better than the Lakers... easily. Heat are deep and loaded with like 7 guys who can go off at any time.

Swap lebron for butler and the Heat sweep the Lakers.

Assuming Jimmy plays on the Lakers like he played on the Heat.

they weren't actually the 5 seed in the RS though

they took games off in the bubble because being 5th seed has no meaning to being 4th seed with no HCA and the match-up locked up.

so that besides having a different schedule unlike to a normal RS schedule, they were actually a 41-24 / 52-win team (63% WR), which got even better as the re-start basically made it a new season and leapfrogged the improvements of younger talents such as Herro.
