Biden's townhall ratings greater than Trump's

Joe Biden's town hall on ABC averaged 14.1 million viewers on Thursday night, easily surpassing the Nielsen ratings for President Trump's town hall on NBC. That alone was a result virtually no one in the TV business expected. And that's not even the most surprising part.

The Trump town hall was simulcast by two of NBC's cable channels, MSNBC and CNBC, but even when those channels are included in the total, Biden -- on only one network -- still prevailed.
The Trump town hall averaged 10.6 million viewers on the NBC broadcast network. On MSNBC, Trump reached 1.74 million viewers, and on CNBC, about 671,000 viewers. So Trump's gross audience across the three channels was 13.1 million, about one million fewer than Biden's audience on ABC alone.

Now, we know ratings aren't going to predict who's going to win the election; but you know this has got to burn TV obsessed Trump's soul :oldlol:

The growing consensus on Biden is "seems fine." Not a rave review but a lot of people are in the mood for a mainstream politician after these Trump years. There are a lot of misstakes to point out but the one I will highlight here is that the Trump people went too far talking about what a doddering old man Biden is. I myself think he's gotten old but he's not just nursing home material like they wanted the world to believe. Set the bar too low so when he goes on the town hall and just competently answers questions he looks good. Meanwhile they act like there are no problems with Trump's cognitive function when he says 5 stupid and/or crazy things on twitter every day. You shouldn't talk about how their guy is a senile old man when your guy is a senile, crazy and obese old man.
