Since MJ stans make PPG the be all end all, someone had to tell them.
Career PPG
Thomas: 19
Dumars: 16
Magic: 20
Worthy: 18
Drexler: 20
Porter: 12
Price: 15
Daughtery: 19
Barkley: 22
Johnson: 18
Ewing: 21
Starks: 13
Payton: 16
Kemp: 15
Shaq: 24
Penny: 15
Malone: 25
Stockton: 13
Hornacek: 15
Hardaway: 18
Mourning: 17
Miller: 18
Smits: 15
The corresponding numbers for LeBron's Finals/ECF opponents would be much higher. Now that this has been exposed, can we move on from the idiotic PPG talking points--we know scoring is higher across the board in this era (as are advanced stats that bake in scoring/efficiency/etc.)? Thanks in advance.

No dummy
Lebron's opponents are in their prime, so their stats reflect peak numbers
You can only compare peak vs peak of their respective opponents, or their actual averages at the time MJ faced them..
For example, Shaq and Malone were averaging nearly 30 when MJ faced them ... Ditto Barkley, Ewing, Dominique, and others
Then there's the all-star deficit (Pistons had 5 starters that were 3x all-stars, while Jordan had 1 all-star teammate

PPG. PER. Whatever 1-9ball and his disciples bring up leads to them getting wrecked with their own logic. :lol

Yeah 3ball uses PPG or PER whenever it suits his needs in an argument.
When we use PPG or PER against him he has a meltdown.
Making him eat his own shit.

Since PER means so much to 3ball.
7 playoff runs LeBron has over 30 PER.
4 playoff runs Jordan has over 30 PER.

Yup. They need to do better. Jordan has a legit case for GOAT but they are so busy melting down they can't make that case. They go from dumb TP to dumb TP, like PPG or PER or preseason odds.

I have Jordan and LeBron neck and neck with Jordan a slight edge in the GOAT ranking.
But LeBron has 4 more years left so it's hard to see LeBron staying where he is in the ranking.

:lol guy had to smuggle in a bunch of 3rd/4th options to get a 0.3 PPG edge (the only I had was Hornacek, since he arguably was their #2). Shall we check what 3rd/4th options scored in the 90's? :oldlol: Scoring is higher now and many of these players are not yet in their "old man" years. It shouldn't be surprising an "apples to apples" comparison would show the latter group as having higher career PPG, which was the point. Don't MJ stans themselves always talk about how much easier it is to score today (except when it comes to LeBron's or MJ's teammates of course)?

:lol
Not only that, look at:
He has Sheed' in, the 4th option.
He used Boozer, not Deng for the 11' Bulls. Deng was the Bulls' #2.
He has Allen, another 3rd option.
He has only one Hawk listed for some reason.
He has only one Heat listed.
No second option for the 17' Celtics.
I probably missed 1-2 others but won't look that closely.
It is obvious what he did. Calculate the MJ average, then cherry pick players to get the LeBron average below the MJ average. Shameless. :lol

Smuggle? I put in more guys for Lebron since he's had more Finals/CFs. I didn't realize you were doing all 1st/2nd options with just Hornacek as the exception. With that said, I can do the same. That would remove Sheed, Ginobili, Ray, and Draymond. It should also remove Harden, but I'll make that the one exception just to show how stupid this observation still is. I'd also have to add Jason Terry, Al Horford, Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown, and Bam Adebayo since I initially only added the corresponding 1st options for those.

Guess what? They are virtually identical (at least when you round it like you did), with Jordan's comp actually having a slight edge at at 17.5652 vs Lebron's 17.5625. You want to backtrack some more roundclown? :oldlol:

If you're not going to respond to my reply (i don't know maybe you're punk ass blocked me again :oldlol:) then take the L and move on roundbitch :oldlol:. What they will say is compare those to what MJ and LeBron's teams had against the comp. They won't like the answer... :lol For instance, in all-NBA Jordan's teams have a 11-9 edge while LeBron's had a 14-18 deficit.
