MJ has a grand total of one and that was back in the best of 5 format so it barely even counts

Great work OP, these facts cannot be ignored anymore. MJ is a distinct #3 at this point

1. LeBron
2. Kareem
3. Jordan

Jordan was a system player. He needed very particular circumstances even to make 6 Finals. Think about that.

LeBron made 10 with any group of dudes in any city with any head coach. David mf Blatt

MJ needed HCA, Pippen, and Phil Jackson to make 6 Finals
LeBron just needed the ball

Who cares. HCA doesn't mean anything. Elite teams might be conserving in the regular season. Key injuries during regular season can artificially deflate a record. Stars don't need HC to win. Regular season is a mirage not to be taken too seriously.

Well said. Jordan had a 55 win team without him, a hall of fame coach and a dream team superstar teammate plus a weak east. Lebron? Just give the dude the ball and magic happens.

MJ was a frontrunner

only won when he was a favorite and only won titles in a watered down league after all the great '80s teams that beat his ass repeatedly fell apart

For the Jordan-era Bulls?

89' 1st round
93' ECF
93' Finals
95' 1st round (Bulls the 5 seed after Grant left, MJ played only 17 games)
98' Finals (Jazz tied the Bulls' record because Pippen missed half the season and the Bulls were a 56 win pace during that time, 67 win pace with him)

So 5.

LeBron
Bird
Magic
Russell
Kareem

Sadly Jordan isn't top 5

Shaq
Wilt
Duncan
Hakeem
...

He might slide into that 10 spot.

Top 10 aint bad for a guy who was JV in high school and a 3rd option in college

Baldan overachieved bigly, major props

I see the Bird being #2 is a good take. Kept MJ winless against him 0-6 and is the closest thing we have to LeBron. Good thinking I like it.

1. LeBron
2. Bird
3. Kareem
4. Russell
5. Magic

Lebron has 3 series losses with HCA and also was down 5 years in a row at least 3-2 with HCA.

Jordan has 0 series losses with HCA and never was down 3-2 with HCA

whats mikes best ring?

Dwight and Rondo beat Lebron when Lebron had HCA now he has them both on his team.

All of Mike's rings are awesome! Lebron left his team 4 times to win and never won and stayed with the franchise that drafted him to win. That is a sell out.
