If Markie‘s chump ass wouldn‘t have missed him, would have been among the absolute top if GOAT games and the GOAT title close-out.

Funny, Curry's won more finals than he's lost unlike some other people. Have you seen the list of FMVP awardees lately? Looks like a list of consolation make up or most improved prize winners.

And still Curry couldn't win it :lol Stop it boi, this conversation is for top 2 players, not top 20. Curry needs a FMVP to get past top 20

Didn't curry score 47 points in a game 3 loss against the raptors during last year's finals?

I believe he did. But I didn't create a thread to celebrate his prowess because of it unlike the OP did here for the inferior player.

stephen curry's iconic playoff moments always come in the first or second quarter before the buzzer

Since 2012 none of the recipients of that award has enhanced its prestige. We all know the media bends over backwards to praise LeBron and will take any excuse it can get away with to boost him. He's been designated the next Jordan by the media and monopolizes play like MJ. Kawhi received the award instead of Duncan because like Curry Duncan makes LeBron look small and plays the right way. Iguodala received it, again to indirectly boost LeBron and his me me me style of play. Durant received it because of his ball dominant ball stopping kind of play. Many people claim they don't respect his rings—you think they respect his FMVPs? Kawhi received it again but then the recent calamity with the Clippers the team he abandoned his championship team for raises questions about his true contribution.

If Duncan or Curry had received the award maybe one couldn't argue it is a propaganda agenda pushing trinket. But one can and it is. It actively seeks to diminish team players. It's a disgrace of an award for a team game.

Needs to join other top players or to play in the inferior conference to show off successes. Needs refs and media to boost him. More successful in the Kardashian way of being known for being known. Could go on but that would just feed the empty talk about him. He's not worth talking about.

+ to top it off LeBron even added three blocked shots and a steal per game over the Finals really bringing the defense

he lit it up at the free throw at 66% (8th best on his own team, 15th-best in the Finals)

since LeBron shot so well someone should do a breakdown of his mid-range

for the playoffs he shot 25% (made one out of every four) shots from 16 feet out to the three-point line - his average shot distance for the playoffs was 12 feet - a.lthough back in his monster 2016 playoffs the average shot distance was 10 feet (the free throw line is 15 feet)

Wow and he still led all in 2020 Finals scoring on better FG%?

But he has the worst loss in Finals history which came at the hands of LeBron, who had the greatest win in Finals history in the same year.

Steph also has 0 Finals MVPs which will probably be his total tally for his career.

It hurts my eyes. I have to scroll through all this dross to find anything interesting. If I actually try reading any of it it hurts my brain because I feel as if I'm being lobotomized due to how dreadfully dumb it all is.

decided to do a breakdown and take a look back at LeBron's early years including the glorious Miami run (2 rings out of his 4 in 15 seasons) to Michael Jordan

everyone who watched knows Michael shot way better in the '96 playoffs than '98 or even '97

unfortunately we do not have stats on the '96 playoffs

LeBron: Avg. Shot distance: 12.4 feet, Shot 0-3 feet: 72.1% shooting, Shot 3-10 feet: 40.1% shooting, Shot 10-16 feet: 34.9$ shooting, Shot 16-3P: 36.7% shooting
Michael Jordan: Avg. Shot distance: 12.5 feet, Shot 0-3 feet: 63.0% shooting, Shot 3-10 feet: 47.6% shooting, Shot 10-16 feet: 41.8% shooting, Shot 16-3P: 44.6% shooting
