no more longevity for the mike fans lets just use the playoff stats for 10 best years of both. i was so kind by taking out mikes three 1st round whoopsies when daddy pippen and papa phil was not there to save him and boost him into 2nd round. this is basically comparing mikes 10 best years with brans. lets see if he wins anything

even if i erase mikes blemish whoopsies from his 1-9 and only take the 10 best playoff runs from t both of them he still loses

its not longevity. its called goat consistency. its called advancing to finals gets you better stats.

10 finals > 6 finals

stop the presses, bran is not winning from 'longevity' he is winning from...winning more playoff series

if we erase mikes 3 worst years (all his 1-9 no papa phil or daddy pippen years) and take his 10 best years! mikes 10 best! against bran's 10 best we get this results

Lebron played way more games... Post the averages for a 10-year peak. Totals don't make someone the GOAT.

Because he won MORE.

The more you win, the more you play. That's how the playoffs are designed.

Sure and Russell has a better GOAT case than Lebron. As does Jordan. As does Kareem. With 4 titles, Lebron isn't gonna be the GOAT unless he's a way better player than those guys and he obviously isn't.

Hahaha!

Well, AI played more games in 01 than Shaq and Kobe.

AI played 22 games.

Shaq and Kobe played 16 games.

Shaq and Kobe won the chip. It's not that AI won more, it's that he lost more and have the opportunity to play more games.

MJ only had 20 games or more twice in his playoff career. Both years he went game 7s and the years he won the chip. Lebron went to 20 games more or more 9 times in the playoffs. In all the chips that Lebron won, he went pass 20 games for each one.

MJ had 17 games in 91
22 games in 92
19 games in 93
18 games in 96
19 games in 97
21 games in 98.

So, it's inflated. With that said, LeBron played more finals. So, obviously he'll have more games.

The level of analysis on these forums has gotten so poor that I feel no satisfaction debating on here anymore. You can't say anything against Lebron (who I rank #4 all time) without getting called a hater. There used to be more people on here who actually used to make legit arguments for something not make threads like "1-9 without Pippen" and on the other side of the coin "6-0 in the Finals". Irrational stans have become the norm instead of getting laughed at.

Its like shooting fish in a barrel :oldlol: Jordan has more titles, more scoring titles, more mvps, more fmvps, better per game stats and MULTIPLE advanced stats in his favor. LeBron fans will point out longevity, and then backtrack after realizing everyone today is dropping big numbers.

It is hard to do a straight up prime vs. prime comp because MJ retired in the middle of his prime. If you use MJ 1987-1998, a time span he was a MVP candidate the entire time you get 830 games. For LeBron another problem is when do you start and end the clock? If you use 2006-2016 that is 828 games. To include KAJ, we can use his full prime of 1970-1980 (slightly more games--855). I am rounding.

Points: MJ 26,600; KAJ 24,200; LeBron 23,000
Rebounds: KAJ 12,300; LeBron 6,000; MJ 5,200
Assists: LeBron 5,800; MJ 4,500; KAJ 3,800

Averages: MJ 32/6/5, LeBron 28/7/7, KAJ 28/14/5

Which is better? YMMV. To me KAJ's line is the most impressive, especially since he is so close in assists despite being a center.

LeBron has 28/7/7 10-year or 27-8-8

Either way, all 3 are pretty solid
