Not really. Lakers are generally a poor outside shooting team. They aren't even a top 20. That was the big if coming into the playoffs. Would they're shooters hit shots. So even one of the worst 3 point teams in the league killed the zone. Plus lebron picked apart the gaps. A good playmaker will do that all day to a zone.
