Is Buddy Hield actually good?

I'm gonna be honest I didn't watch many Kings games this year. His box-score numbers approximate Klay Thompson but his defense apparently sucks and some of the trade proposals seemingly view him as a negative on his current contract(see Horford for Hield). Anybody actually watch enough Kings to answer this?

Anybody know? I swear nobody has actually watched this dude play. People just recite stats when talking about him.

Never seen him play but box score stats suggest he's a pretty good player
