View Full Version : Lebron had two playoff upsets worse then Kawhi vs Nuggets

LeBron had two bigger playoff upsets then Kawhi losing to nuggets

Orlando magic 2009 loss: Magic had 7 less wins then Cavs

Boston Celtics 2010 loss: Celtics had 11 wins less then Cavs

The nuggets 2020 loss: Nuggets had just 3 wins less then Clippers.

Jokic's 33 playoff game stretch of 9.3 BPM, 27 PER, 21% win share 48 is also better then any 33 playoff game stretch that KG or Dwight ever had.

And that doesn't even include 2011 :oldlol: It may not align with your premise, but is still the WORST choke from a superstar. Where would Wade rank alltime with another signature finals performance and FMVP? Not sure, but know that he would be looked at differently.

Looks like LeBron beat a Denver team that was better than any team KG or Dwight had as per your post.

Denver was stacked and Lakers beat a stacked team.

Mods can permanently ban my account if clippers lose game 7. Its not happening.

Only because Dwight guarded jokic, nuggets were tired from back to back game 7 series.

Losing is losing at the end of the day. Lebron didn't take either team to 7 games. The 2010 Celtics loss was an embarrassment as well.

Ka-Choke Chokard (67 wins) lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder (55 wins) in 2016 while being outplayed by teammate LaMarcus Aldridge. Not to mention both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook from the opposing team. That's a whole 12 wins worth of difference, bitch boy.

Ka-Choke's choking resumé is quite impressive:

2015: Had a 3-2 lead against the Clippers, then averaged 12.5 points on 8-28 shooting in the final 2 games of the series to blow the lead and lose the series.
2016: Lost to a team with 12 wins less.
2020: Needs no introduction. Will forever be known as "The Choke".

I'm starting to get the impression that you are like 13 and didn't watch either of those series. Neither of those series were bad upsets at the time. Orlando got super hot from 3 and Lebron played possibly the greatest individual series of all time in that 2009 Orlando series. He certainly didn't go 1/11.

2010 Cavs were clearly outmatched against the Celtics. Those 2008-2010 Celtics teams were the first superteams of the modern era. Well, the 2004 Lakers tried it first but didn't succeed :lol

2011 finals is the one blemish on Lebron's playoff performances (Lebron played very well up until the finals that year). But Lebron never blew a 3-1 lead or shot 1-11 in a Game 7 :lol

Losing to Dwight Howard is the most pathetic loss in NBA history. Outside of 2009, Dwight was considered a loser and cancer. Dwight was still able to out play Lebron in the close out game, right before he goes on to average 15PPG in finals hahaha

2010 Celtics were also on their last legs, Garnett wasn't a superstar anymore after his 09 injury. Lost to a team without any superstars in their prime.

2011 well yea Jason terry outscored you, that one goes without saying hahaha

"Losing is losing at the end of the day."

The whole thread is about context of losing to lesser teams. You brought up 2015 losing to a team without home court, what a moron.

2016 kawhi also wasn't eliminated on his home court, it was at OKC. Nobody can ever eliminate kawhi on his home court.

No, YOU brought up LeBron apparently having a worse choke job than Ka-Choke 2020 "The Choke" choke job based ONLY on how many wins his team had more than his opponents (7 and 11 wins more).
Then you ended up looking like an IDIOT after it was pointed out that Ka-Choke had an even worse choke job than that because he lost to a team with 12 wins less.

Ka-Choke had the chance of closing the series against the Clippers at his home court in game 6 of the 2015 first round. But he decided to shoot 3-15 and lose the game.
Ka-Choke had the home court advantage against the Thunder in 2016.

Now resume your job as being one of the public urinals of this forum, along with 3ball.

Clippers won 'only 3 more games' because of the amount of games Kawhi and George missed. If those two played more the Clippers would have a better record. OP is still melting down over a month later. Biggest jizzrag on ISH as voted by our prestigious forum members.

I'm still waiting for him to honor his word and stop posting till next season if the Clippers lost. He probably has 1000 posts since Kahwit's 6/22.

Even if he reneged on that, there's nothing more pathetic than being unable to accept the L like a man. He's been melting down for 6 weeks, refusing to admit Kawhi was apart of one of the biggest chokes in sports history, while having one of the worst Game 7's ever.

Very reminiscent of all the LeBron haters who scurried away like rats after the Finals, just some real cowardly shit

OP you are an idiot.

Literally all you need to do to slight Lebron is bring up 2011...it's a MASSIVE black mark for someone who is a GOAT candidate.

Bringing up 09 and 2010 is REALLY dumb.

At least in 2010 LeBron had a rough stretch of play to end the series, including a brutal Game 5. '09 I will never understand, the guy nearly averaged 40/8/8 for the series and they try to argue he should be blamed for losing, shit is just retarded :lol

If anything, it makes things even worse. He didn't even list the worst thing because there are other situations to pick from.

MJ never had a single series statistically on the level of '07 Finals, '08 ECSF's, '10 ECSF's, '11 Finals, '13 Finals, etc. And his team never ever got humiliated by all time margins like vs the Spurs and Warriors.

It really is incredible that Jordan never had a single bad series... that's GOAT.

You should check out the '96 Finals & '97 ECF, both absolutely on the level or worse than the '13 Finals, 2010 too

Kawhi led all players in GmSc and you still blame him.
If Kawhi had a teammate averaging 31PPG like Anthony Davis did vs nuggets, he would of won the series.

But 1996 finals Jordan went up 3-0. He wasn't down 2-3 and needed ray Allen to save him from elimination.

MJ is definitely the GOAT. I don't even really care about his awards or rings, the guy is just the best player ever regardless. Skill, athleticism, mental strength, leadership, production...MJ is GOAT. Lebron is number two in my opinion but it's a distant two.

People don't realize that not only is MJ the best basketball player, he's in the running for best ATHLETE/SPORTS STAR ever...
